UNIFORM

Uniforms

Why is uniform important?

Uniforms creates an identity and sense of belonging both at the studio and in the public arena. Studio pride is a wonderful way for students to strive to be the best dancer they can be.

Uniforms encourage discipline. As much as dancing is enjoyable, discipline is required to ensure everyone in class receives a high standard of teaching. Uniforms are a reminder that there are rules to follow and respect.

The uniform is very practical. It enables the teachers to assist students in learning to dance. It provides staff with the ability to see all movement when giving instruction. It prevents economic and social differences being experienced at the studio. The peer pressure to buy expensive labels is taken out. And, as our uniform is very affordable it keeps the price down for parents.

There are many reasons why a uniform is beneficial and we would really appreciate it if you made sure your child has their uniform on when coming to class. Help your child be proud to belong to POSE.

We have variations on the uniform to cover the different styles that we have on offer at POSE. The only class that must wear a specific POSE uniform is Ballet, where all dancers must be a leotard and ballet stockings. All other genres can wear their own combination of the POSE range.
